The Newsday app offers comprehensive 24/7 coverage of local news in Long Island.

Subscribers of Newsday have unlimited access to the app. Alternatively, you can subscribe through iTunes for a digital subscription that grants you all-access.

App features:

• Customizable alerts: Personalize your experience by enabling notifications for the types of news that interest you, such as breaking news, weather, traffic, sports, business, and opinion.
• Newsday on your TV: Watch our award-winning videos and documentaries on your flat screen using the app's redesigned video player. The player includes playlist functionality and casting capability.
• The Digital Crossword: Enjoy Newsday's daily interactive crossword puzzles presented by Stan Newman. You can start and save puzzles for later, check for errors, and reveal answers when needed.
• The Digital Paper: Experience an interactive version of Newsday's print edition featuring exclusive photos and videos that come alive off the page. You can open articles in user-friendly story windows, download the paper for offline reading, and bookmark content for later. Additionally, you can explore current and past editions of Feed Me magazine, Newsday Classic editions, the Fun Book, and other special sections.
• Offline reading: When you're not connected to the Internet or in airplane mode, you can still access the text of all articles that were loaded during your last connection. You also have the option to save any article, video, or photo to view later.
• Section swipe and customized navigation: Easily navigate between sections by swiping left or right, instead of individually opening them through the navigation menu. You can customize which sections you prefer to see and the order in which they appear. Furthermore, you can personalize sections for news and information specific to your community.
• Manage your newsletters: Subscribe to Newsday's newsletters, such as breaking news, morning updates, afternoon updates, and more, directly within the app. They will be delivered to your inbox.
• Manage My Account: Personalize your subscription and update your information. You can schedule a vacation hold on your print subscription, resolve delivery issues, view and pay your bill, enroll in eBilling or EZ-Pay, update your billing address, and more.
• Interactive weather map: Customize our weather map to display a variety of weather conditions in Long Island and around the world. You can use the future cast feature to visualize weather in the next six hours and easily track rain, snow, and storms. The app allows you to save up to 10 locations for quick reference.
• Sports scores: Stay updated on the performance of your favorite professional sports teams with comprehensive stats on the scores pages. You can also view upcoming games.

Subscription information:

• Subscriptions are available for $14.99/month or $149/year.
• Your subscription will automatically renew each month through your iTunes account, and you have the flexibility to cancel at any time.
• Your iTunes Account will be charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be specified.
• Subscriptions can be managed by the user, and auto-renewal can be turned off by accessing the Account Settings after purchase.
• If a free trial period is offered, any unused portion will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
